Andy has worked since 1994 as composer and sound designer on many tv themes, animations, short films and documentaries. Yet he finds time to play with fluffy animals and record the quiet creakings and whispered secrets of old and scary buildings.
He began making soundscapes for film students, and soon found himself in demand professionally for music scoring as well as sound design.
Andy began composing music for tv as well, and was commissioned to write themes for MTV programs 'The Rhythm Method', '1-800 Soul' and 'Collections'. Most recently he wrote a new theme for Pepsi Live for use in many countries.
Early on, Andy found a particular fondness for featuring spoken word in his work, which later came to the fore with dub and hiphop influenced songs written around Dylan Thomas' majestic poetry and voice (The Dylan Thomas Project, Tygerboy).
Andy subsequently met the creator of Ugly Lovely Night, Binda Singh, through their mutual interest in Dylan Thomas.
He continues to score for film and tv, but with also creates songs and music videos for alter ego Cooper Black
